Asbestos

Asbestos is a mineral fiber that has been commonly used in a variety of building construction materials for insulation and as a fire-retardant. Inhaling tiny Asbestos particles is known to cause a number of debilitating and often fatal illnesses, including Asbestosis (irreversible lung scarring), Mesothelioma (a cancer of the chest and abdominal lining), and lung cancer.
